It's so much more than just having your photo taken. It's a complete experience!

Sue Stone Photography will strive to give you the very best experience which will result in images that you are delighted with.

To help explain how a professional photography session works we have broken the process down for you ... please have a read then click on the link to choose and purchase your session.

1. BOOK YOUR SESSION We have created an easy session pre-purchase system through our website, however of course you are welcome to call or drop in to book also. We are open for bookings Tuesday - Saturday. All appointments require a $50 booking fee to secure the date into our diary regardless of session fee paid. This is refunded or credited to your order on the day of your selection and purchasing appointment. If your appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice the booking fee is not refunded to cover the loss of our appointment session and the photographers time.

2. PLAN YOUR SESSION Now comes the fun part. This is your session and it is up to you how you want things to look. Think about what you want to bring along with you ... anything that tells us about you and your family. Perhaps you are musicians, surfers, sports mad, have special toys or pets to include. What you wear also depends on the type of images you would like. Think about the style of your home and where you will hang your artwork. Think about the colour scheme and choose clothing that will complement.

3. THE PHOTO SHOOT You've booked the session, you've picked the clothes, you've managed to get everyone out the door and ready for their photos. the next part is our part! Most people start by telling us they 'hate having photos taken' ... so relax, we understand all of that and will do our very best to put you at ease. Our job here is to bring out your personalities, the family connections and the love. We want to create images for you that you will love for years and years to come. Take this time to also have a look around the walls at the many examples of artwork we produce. It will get you excited for your next appointment too.

4. PURCHASING APPOINTMENT For most people this is the favourite part of the experience, you get to see your gorgeous images! You also however need to select which of the many images to purchase and to take home. Through a process of elimination we will select your absolute favourites and then help you to select which are the best products with which to display them. Please attend this session with all the decision makers in the family so as best to utilise your time and ours. This is after all the important bit. If possible please make arrangements for young children, especially toddlers, to be looked after to ensure you can select your purchase without distractions.

WHAT WILL IT COST?

5. COLLECT, DISPLAY AND SHOW OFF! After your purchasing appointment your order is then moved immediately into our production queue where we lovingly and carefully retouch, print and then place with our external suppliers for production.  All our albums and wall art are custom made. We pride ourselves on the quality of every gorgeous piece that leaves our studio. After all, it reflects our work and is where our repeat and referral bookings come from. Your order will be ready to collect within 3-5 weeks. Then it's time to take it all home and display on your walls, coffee table or mantelpiece. We hope you love them all and receive many wonderful comments from your family and friends. We look forward to seeing you next time!
